With 3TB memory, you can run 50-100 VMs depending on VM size. 16GB/VM = 180+ machines. 32GB/VM = 90+ machines. Production clusters typically run 50-75 VMs per physical host.

Yes. vSphere and Hyper-V support mixed generations in one cluster. However, we recommend keeping Gen11 together for performance consistency. Gen10 can run older workloads.

RAID 6 recommended for production (tolerates 2 drive failures). RAID 10 for mission-critical databases. RAID 5 acceptable for non-critical workloads. We typically use 2-3 RAID groups.
